Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Suited Resume collects, why, and who processes it. The short version: we store what the product needs to work (your account, your resume content, and the job postings you tailor against) and nothing else. We do not sell your data, and there are no advertising trackers on the site.

1. What we collect

• Account: your email address, optional name, and a hash of your password (never the password itself), or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
• Resume content: the base resume you enter or upload, and the tailored versions the Service generates for you.
• Job postings: the postings you paste or link, stored so your tailored resumes keep their context.
• Purchases: your credit balance and a record of completed checkouts (Stripe session id, credits granted). We never receive or store card numbers; payment details go directly to Stripe.

We use one strictly necessary cookie: your login session. There are no tracking or advertising cookies. We measure page traffic with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and anonymized: it counts visits without identifying you or following you across other sites.

2. How your data is used

Solely to operate the Service: authenticate you, generate your tailored resumes, maintain your credit balance, send the email verification message, and respond when you contact us. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use your resume content to train AI models.

3. Who processes it

Suited Resume runs on a small set of service providers, each receiving only what its job requires:

• Anthropic / OpenAI: receive your resume text and the job posting to perform the AI tailoring.
• Stripe: payment processing.
• Resend: sends the email verification message.
• Vercel: hosts the application.
• Turso: hosts the database where the data above is stored.

4. Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists so your resumes and history remain available to you. Delete individual jobs any time from the dashboard, or permanently delete your entire account and all associated data yourself from the Settings page; the deletion is immediate. Payment records held by Stripe are retained as legally required. You can also request deletion by emailing support@suitedresume.com from your account address.

5. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access to production systems is limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you at your account email.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to children and may not be used by anyone under 16.

7. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date above; significant changes will also be announced in the product.
